WCPFC5 agreed to adopt the Guidelines for CCMs Part 2 reports (WCPFC5-2008/IP-07, Appendix B) which includes inter alia that CCMs provide in Annual Report Part 2 summary information on i) measures adopted for conservation and management of HMFS in areas under national jurisdiction ii) on inspections of domestic-only vessels and iii) on surveillance activities (aerial or sea patrols) in areas under national jurisdiction.
Article 23 - Obligations of members of the Commission
The members of the Commission shall keep the Commission informed of the measures they have adopted for the conservation and management of highly migratory fish stocks in areas within the Convention Area under their national jurisdiction. The Commission shall circulate periodically such information to all members.
